ADMIN :: February Penpal Finding Post
Feb. 4th, 2012 06:08 pmSo here we are, four days into February, and I'm finally getting around to doing this post. Bet y'all thought we'd given up on this comm, eh? Not really. RL got a little crazy for the two of us throughout December and January, but we're working our way back out.
So...
Penpal Matching
This is the February post you can comment to if you are looking for pen pals. We'll be doing this around the first of each month. You can check out previous posts for ideas of how it goes :: September, October, & November.
If you posted in any of the previous posts and are still looking for penpals, can you please comment here and either link back to your comment in those posts or repeat the info (your preference).
The questions below are not set in stone, but are simply a starting off point for finding penpals. Feel free to add to this, if you feel like it. There's even a convenient textbox with the basic info for you to use when you comment.

This post is a starting off point. Once you get the info here, contact your potential penpal via PM and/or email [if it's available on their profile page]. Please make sure that you don't give out your actual address until you have talked with your potential penpal and feel it's a good match.
February Suggested Topic
This month, rather than go with the obvious topics of Valentine's Day and love, I thought we'd shake it up into something else. What is your favorite recipe to make? If you get a last-minute invitation to a potluck, what one recipe can you always rely on to take with you? Why not share that recipe with your penpal(s) this month and turn it into a recipe-sharing free-for-all?
As always, if you want to suggest a topic of discussion for future months, please leave a comment on this post. These topics are meant as a guide only, to give you a subject to fall back on if you get writer's block or are not sure how to start your penpal relationship. Please pop on over there to add suggestions.
This is, of course, only suggested feel free to write about whatever you want!
